My Mission

With over 25 years of experience in Naturopathy and a passion for food and nutrition, I have integrated health coaching into my practice, as I believe that understanding our food and lifestyle choices is crucial for making the necessary changes to enhance our health. I strongly advocate individuality and offer a person-centered approach in my nutrition and health coaching practice. 


My extensive experience enables me to provide tailored coaching that meets your individual needs, whether you are local to Shropshire or connecting remotely from anywhere in the world. 


While I am happy to work with all clients seeking to implement lifestyle changes, I have a particular interest in supporting women’s health, including topics such as ADHD in women and Menopause Health, as well as nutrition coaching to promote overall well-being.

Scope of Practice

As a Health Coach I will provide guidance and management in the major components of your health and help you uncover your unique strengths and talents, so you can achieve your goals and live your best life.  You can learn how to make lasting changes in your life building healthy habits and routines.   I can help you to Identify and break free from the negative thought patterns that are holding you back.


As a Health Coach,  I am not medically trained to diagnose, treat or provide any  psychotherapy or therapeutic  therapeutic interventions or prescribe medications. 


 As a Nutrition Coach I will support you in implementing expert recommendations as prescribed by your professional health care provider.  I can assist you to use your own insight to gain new self-awareness of your health, your diet and how to make improvements. I will support you in developing your own healthy eating plans.


I am not a Registered Dietician or a Clinical Nutritionist and therefore will not prescribe medication or provide diet plans


 I can become your accountability partner to support you, motivate you and share knowledge that inspires you to become a healthier you.  I will always act in your best interest, maintaining confidentiality and respect. I adhere to the UKIHCA Code of Ethics. 

My Story that brought me here..............

You travel through your life, dealing with the stresses, health worries and managing as best you can. But it is only when you experience a serious health issue, that you reflect on what is important and what is not. I was tolerating a extremely toxic working environment, believe it or not in the "health industry". I developed a DVT (a deep vein thrombosis) in my leg, possibly due to sitting for long periods of time on video calls with patients without significant breaks. Whether this was the cause, or I was vulnerable from 2 x covid episodes, we will never really know. 


What it did do was make me decide to remove myself from that toxic environment and focus on regaining my health. The DVT was not going to define me and so I embarked on reviewing my diet, exercising more and just appreciate how precious life is. I was post menopause with that "menobelly" tummy bulge that would not shift and a deep sadness of feeling old. 


Using accountability partners such as Diabetes UK Million Step Challenge and various other charities that were offering walking/step challenges, this gave me the motivation to get moving and also to raise some money at the same time.


Rediscovering my great love of food and cooking, I researched  foods indicated to really address my health issues and began to experiment with new foods and recipes.


 I feel that having lived it, I can share it and support you to better health.

Fees

Pre-consultation (Discovery call) - Free 15 minutes

This call allows you to discuss what your expectations are regarding nutrition and health coaching and whether you think this might be right for you. The sessions are yours and guided by myself, so you need to feel comfortable to get the most from the coaching sessions.

Initial Consultation

£120.00

This consultation will take approximately 90 minutes and will involve a simple review of diet and lifestyle with suggestions to make appropriate changes. 

Initial Consultation + 4 Follow up Session Package

£400.00

This package includes the initial consultation and 4 follow up sessions. This is recommended for small changes with the  4 follow up sessions to be booked 2 weeks apart. These sessions  are to be taken within 10 weeks of payment.

Follow up Sessions

85.00

These are follow up sessions that may be needed as sessions after the initial consultation to discuss achievements and challenges during your journey to better health.  These sessions will be 30-40 minutes long.
